The land it sits on runs down the the edge of the stunning and huge Lake Kivu that sits between Rwanda and the DRC. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHere the local farmers, whose average farm size is only about one hectare, bring their ripe coffee cherries to the washing station where they are processed. This natural coffee is spread out on raised drying beds in a layer about 2cm thick for up to 30 days.
