They have faced a lot of troubles in recent times but they keep bouncing back! From having a bank put their farm up for auction to service debts, to having hurricane Mitch pass through the farm in 1998 leaving only destruction in its path. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 2012 the farm was stuck with a really bad case of coffee leaf rust, leaving Guillermo no choice but to clear out all his coffee trees and start again. His determination and passion for coffee carried him through hard times again. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis washed red Catuai lot grabbed our attention the first time we tasted it. Refined and sweet with bundles of dried fruit that we tasted as sultans when the coffee was hot and which turned into dried cranberries as the coffee cooled.
